꽤 오래 전부터 알고 지냈지만, 요즘엔 거의 연락을 하지 않던 대만의 한 마케팅 담당자가 최근 리안리 버즈 마케팅을 진행하고 있는가 보다. 메신저로 건네 받은 한 동영상 링크는 재미있는 자료를 담고 있었다. PC 케이스 전문업체 리안리의 최신 작품이다.

실제 이 제품이 있는 걸까? 그렇다 있다. 판매 여부는 모르겠다. 

이 제품을 판매할 계획이 있는지는 아직 알려지지 않았지만, 피코ITX(예를 들어 아톰+아이온이나 파인트레일) 규격의 제품을 이런 식으로 노출형으로 디자인해 사용한다면 케이스 튜닝(모딩)의 또 다른 영역이 될 수 있지 않을까 싶다. 국내에서도 구입할 분들이 꽤 되지 않을까 싶은데... 수년 전에 케이스 옆판을 자르기 위해 직소 구입을 고민했던 때가 생각난다. 


대만 현지 마케팅팀은 '대만에 괴생물체가 등장했다'는 식의 메시지를 글로벌로 뿌리고 있는 것 같다.

The Lian Li T1 Pitstop is a chassis designed for a few users, but all of them are nitromanics who delve into the depths of BIOS's and extract every ounce of power from them. 

We present this unusual beast for speculation and when more is uncovered, we will reveal more, but only next time where we take it into the lab and give a" how to tame the beast" tutorial.
